David and his assistant, Liv, started by contacting agents doing waterfront and the best matches (buyers whose “wants” strongly aligned with our home’s features) in their extensive “Buyers in Waiting” database, while also reviewing personal hot lists of potential buyers “most ready” to make a purchase, then scheduling interested agents and potential buyers to drop by and see our house…as many as possible in the shortest time possible, with the objective of getting offers within a week or so of when our home would have been listed. The process worked well. We were under contract within a few days and closed a few weeks later. In between those times, David worked diligently to shepherd us through the process of getting the contract ratified and preparing for closing…documents that had to be signed…disclosures that had to be made…getting the house itself ready for the prospective owners...working with the closing attorneys...even helping us take care of things related to our own move.
